Position Overview: We are actively searching for a full-time Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our Grand Junction, CO location.

The Warehouse Manager will oversee and optimize warehouse and yard along with coordinating and executing delivery of products to our customers. This role serves as a crucial link between sales and operations, ensuring smooth communication and efficient material handling. The successful candidate will take ownership of logistics, inventory control, and on-time deliveries, all while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse staff and delivery drivers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Oversee the coordination and execution of deliveries, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and stock as needed to meet customer demands, including inter-branch transfers when required.
• Develop and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to improve workflow, storage optimization, and product handling.
• Supervise and execute the loading/unloading of trucks to guarantee correct product delivery and maximize efficiency.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and provide detailed reports with explanations for discrepancies.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring all tools, forklifts, and vehicles are in safe working condition.
• Ensure the facility remains organized, clean, and well-maintained both inside and outside.
• Promote a culture of safety by enforcing OSHA compliance and best practices for warehouse operations.
• Work closely with the sales and regional management teams to align operations with business goals.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of QIS Supply.

Safe and Responsible CDL Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Oversee and assist in the safe operation of deliveries, ensuring drivers adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Plan delivery schedules to optimize efficiency while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Load and secure materials safely to prevent damage and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Monitor driver performance, including adherence to safety procedures and customer service expectations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver logs, and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Address any transportation-related issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated leader with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
• Hands-on approach to work, willing to collaborate closely with sales and operations teams.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Proficiency in office suite programs; experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Background in customer service and sales is a plus.
• Previous experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and CDL operations is an advantage.
