Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Job Responsibilities:

• Gather eggs: sort by size, cleanliness, misshapen, cracks; clean eggs as needed; stack flats
• Empty trash
• Change dip pans daily and replace liquids
• Walk the floors and slats to find eggs and dead birds: walk houses 4-5 times daily; gather up to 13,600 eggs from conveyor belts
• Clean waters by lifting 40 lbs. to dump water and scrubbing up to 160 drinkers/day
• Transfer eggs to other farms
• Clean the ranch between flocks, including heavy lifting and operating high-pressure washers
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Walk 1.5 to 5 miles daily
• Step into and out of gathering pits multiple times daily (steep stairs)
• Bend over and pick up eggs from the floor
• Climb a 12-foot ladder
• Reliable transportation required
• Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
