Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Job Specialty: Echo Technologist Job Duration: Full-Time Shift: Days Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: No minimum years of experience required License: Current ARDMS or CCI Registered Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Associates or bachelor's degree, high school diploma or equivalent Job Description: - Responsible for properly greeting patients, verifying correct patient information including name, date of birth, the proper exam, diagnosis, and confirming the doctor's order before performing exams or procedures. - Ensure accuracy in all procedures and documentation in EMR and PACS. - Maintain strong proficiency in 2D Doppler, Color Flow Doppler, M-Mode, Transesophageal Echocardiography with 3D, Echo Enhancement (Definity) studies, Bubble Studies, and Stress Echocardiography. - Clean all equipment and the surrounding environment after every exam and restock supplies. - Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment and educate peers, caregivers, and students where appropriate. - Take limited weekend calls with certain shift schedules to be discussed during the interview.
