The Scheduler is responsible for ensuring 24/7 staffing coverage across 11 group homes, maintaining safe staffing ratios, coordinating direct care support, and responding to emergencies to support high-quality care for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Additionally, as a Scheduler you can expect to:Independently schedule and coordinate staff assignments to meet state-regulated staffing ratios and resident needs. Review, approve, or deny leave requests based on current staffing levels and operational impact. Respond quickly to staff call-offs, absences, and emergencies by finding or providing coverage. Maintain, adjust, and communicate staffing schedules daily using proprietary scheduling software (e.g., When 2 Work), spreadsheets, and internal systems. Provide on-the-ground direct care coverage when no other staffing solution is available.
