Audit Supervisor

Compensation:

Pay: From $85,000 to $115,000 per year (based on experience)

Position Type: Full-Time Exempt

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Compensation Differentials for this position are based on education, experience, training, and geographic location, as well as DWC's seniority and merit systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Guide and complete audit work, assessing clients' internal control systems.
• Ensure compliance with financial statement disclosure requirements and draft complex financial statements.
• Address alternative accounting principles and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Formulate and communicate the audit plan, applying GAAS to diverse audit challenges.
• Coordinate the audit plan's execution, utilizing firm methodologies and technology.
• Conduct research on routine and complex accounting areas, organizing findings.
• Supervise Staff and Senior Accountants, mentoring them for success.
• Communicate with clients and the community in a professional manner.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, MBA or Masters of Accountancy preferred.
• Four to seven years of relevant audit experience.
• CPA or EA preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel, as needed.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and auditing principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Professional communication and documentation abilities.
