Caprock Academy is a public, tuition-free school chartered by the Colorado Charter School Institute and utilizes the timeless principles of classically oriented education./ppCaprock Academy follows the Core Knowledge curriculum in grades K8. This curriculum encompasses language arts, mathematics, science, history, geography, fine arts, and physical education. The curriculum is characterized by content-rich instruction, cumulative knowledge, content-specific lessons, and coherent sequencing. The foundation of our academics are rooted in classical education philosophy and pedagogy, following the grammar, logic and rhetoric trivium. Please review our website carefully and be familiar with our teaching styles./ppFLSA Classification: Hourly, non-exempt/ppEmployment Status: Casual, part-time/ppWork Hours: 7:15 a.m.-3:15 p.m. full day/ppPay Range: $150/full-day, $75/half-day/ppReports To: Executive Assistant to the Head of School/ph3Essential Duties/h3ulliImplement teacher lesson plans/liliHelp faculty to always supervise students./liliTake part of a rotating schedule for playground duty before school, at recess, at lunch and after school./liliAid teachers in drop off and pick up duty before and/or after school./liliFacilitate the Pledge of Allegiance with students./liliTake attendance./liliAid teachers in escorting students to specials classes./liliEscort students to the office as needed./liliHelp keep the classroom clean and tidy./liliEnforce school policies (ie. dress code, technology usage, etc)./li/ulh3Requirements/h3pstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strong/pulliHigh school diploma.
