Eligible for a monthly performance bonus up to $1,000.Position Description Leads the daily operations on the sales floor at a Retail Store location for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona and its affiliated entities, helping fund the Goodwill mission of ending unemployment. Supports the production room as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develops and executes retail operations plans to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.Monitors product levels (floor work, as‑is, recycle, trash, seasonal back stock) daily to meet sales budget targets.Controls payroll and operating costs within budget.Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers, de‑escalating situations and finding appropriate solutions.Maintains clean, well‑kept store locations that reflect the Goodwill brand.Partners with community businesses and organizations to promote the Goodwill mission and serve as an ambassador to the community.Leads day‑to‑day sales floor operations, ensuring Retail Store Associates and Customer Service Manager are well‑trained and fulfill their duties.Acts as key holder for the store, closing shift manager, and backup to the Store Manager.Processes complex sales transactions, including customer returns.Ensures Team Members operate per company standards and procedures.Travels to other GCNA locations to assist other stores, attend training, and support business needs.Transfers to different stores as business needs dictate.Partners with support areas (Asset Protection, Human Resources, Safety, Finance, etc.) to further business goals and ensure compliance with policies.Builds a high‑performing team, responsible for performance management, staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.Drives company culture change efforts and change management processes.Models Goodwill Core Values – Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.Performs other related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.One year of Retail Management experience.One year of customer service experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.Proficient in English (speak and read).Benefits Medical Plans (Employer Funded Health Reimbursement Account)Dental PlansVision Plan401(k) with Employer MatchLife Insurance (Employer Paid)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Paid Time Off: Sick, Vacation, and HolidaysEEO Statement Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is an equal opportunity employer.
