Service Drive Aid

Serves as a service drive aid for readying vehicles and service department for daily activities.

Essential Duties

Moving cars between service drive, workshop, storage parking, and pick-up point

• Ready every incoming vehicle:
• Paper and plastic
• Washer fluid
• Tag & parked location
• Ready Vehicle for Customer Pick Up
• Wash cars and park up front when necessary
• If you're unsure if a vehicle needs to be washed, ask!

Maintain Customer Lounge:

• Turn on Lights
• Making Coffee
• Unlock Lounge doors
• Stock waters, coffee & coffee making supplies (cups, filters, coffee, etc.)
• Ensure the exterior of the lounge is clean and free of debris or trash
• Ensure lounge interior is neat and presentable

Maintain service drive appearance:

• Wash & sweep floors
• Ensure tire stacks are neat & tidy
• Place “wet floor” signs when applicable
• Clean up oil spots & spills when applicable
• Keep service drive clear from cars & build up when applicable
• Emptying trash cans

Exterior Maintenance:

• Keep service drive and surrounding area clean
• Clean windows to service drive doors 2x a month
• Empty trash can outside if overflowing
• Shovel and put down ice melt in the event of heavy snow

Service loaners:

• Cars need cleaning (wiping down the interior, cleaning interior windows & windshield, removing stains when applicable), fueled, vacuumed, & washed after every return
• Verify with service office personnel of loaner needs for the next business day
• Loaner car parking is Loaner Lot for vehicles ready to be handed out, and behind C row for vehicles that need cleaned

Other Duties as assigned by Management or Advisors

• Test Driving vehicles
• Shuttling customers
• Performing pick up and deliveries

Maintains a professional appearance

Driving and handling all cars responsibly to ensure damage prevention and, always protecting dealership property

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
